A Baker’s Dozen (in my belly)

Pictured here are delicious home made rolls I helped bake at my Workaway stay for an upcoming weekend retreat!

It was my first time baking bread ever and it was extremely easy!

 The ingredients used were:

  • Organic Yeast
  • Organically sifted spelled flour
  • Spelt Flakes (type of oat used)
  • Organic Honey
  • Organic Coconut Oil
  • Salt
  • Warm water

Here’s how we baked the rolls:

First, mix the water and yeast together until yeast starts to bubble a bit. Then slowly start adding the flour, salt, and oats in until well blended. Next, add in the honey and coconut oil and let the dough sit for an hour.

Add the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cook for 20 minutes at around 250° C/480° F. And BAM! Delicious Rolls ready and waiting to be devoured.
